Using an instructional model to support teacher innovation
Wednesday 27 April 2022 7-8pm AEST
As part of a research project exploring aspects of curriculum and pedagogical innovation, the team developed an instructional model. The innovation was intended to explore the opportunities and constraints in implementing student centred structured inquiry approaches to teaching mathematics. The model intends to simplify the description and presentation of the recommended pedagogies. Some research exploring the ways the model was used by teachers will be presented.
