Designing for flourishing learning experiences

Wednesday 6 April 2022 7-8pm AEST

Yew Leong

This webinar draws attention to the ways design artefacts influence human behaviour and suggests how these observations might be applied in curriculum design and implementation to help students flourish as learners. Our values shape the designs we create; at the same time, the artefacts that we use shape our moral choices. Our cultures, histories, and specific social and psychological situations further complicates this relationship. An appreciation of these interconnections will help us to better understand why some curriculum design and implementation efforts are successful and why others are not.
