Not another webinar?! A crash course on innovation wrapped in tradition
Tuesday 11 May 2021 7-8pm AEST
American educational philosopher and psychologist John Dewey said: "If we teach today's students as we taught yesterday's, we rob them of tomorrow." As education continues to grapple with the ever-growing tension between preparing young people for the 4th Industrial Revolution and the traditional high-stakes examinations that the Australian education system is paralysed by, schools are aspiring to rise to the rapidly changing (and in some ways unchanging) world. This session focuses on sustainable innovation that supports deep learning as a path to academic achievement in a traditional sense.
