Practicum experiences can be rewarding yet challenging times. With university assignments due, lack of a social life, trying to balance family commitments and not enough information about the reality of pracs, the experience can seem quite isolating. By attending this session with Stephanie Salazar, pre-service teachers will gain a range of practical strategies that they can implement in order to thrive during their practicum experiences. She will share stories from her own pracs, including her biggest fails and how she overcame them, and strategies she has observed over 7 years as a classroom teachers and Instructional Leader that successful pre-service teachers use to achieve temporary and permanent employment.
