What Works: Explorations in improving outcomes for Indigenous students
David McRae, Geoff Ainsworth, Jim Cumming, Paul Hughes, Tony Mackay, Kaye Price, Mike Rowland, Joan Warhurst, Davina Woods & Vic Zbar, 2000

This report summarises what has been learnt from an analysis of some 80 projects from pre-school through to the vocational education and training (VET) sector. Written by a team of Indigenous and non-Indigenous consultants, the report shows that providers of education and training were able to demonstrate that improving Indigenous student learning outcomes can occur in a relatively short space of time through concentrated efforts; across a broad range of projects in varied locations and contexts.
