Beyond Beliefs is a powerful resource for secondary techers that explores the relationship between Muslims and non-Muslims living in Australia. The resource includes an award winning DVD of a documentary that follows the journeys of four randomly selected Australians who attended a 2007 deliberative poll in Canberra about Muslim and non-Muslim relationships in Australia. The DVD and supporting kit provide teachers with the tools to tackle this challenging issue in their classrooms.

ACSA developed and delivered workshops for teachers in five Australian states to familiarise teachers with the resource and other relevent issues. The kit was produced by issues deliberation Australia and the workshops were funded by the Myer Foundation.
